Badhegi Beti to Badhega India Ham banayenge New India

We are living in twenty first century where we always talk about the equality of genders , but in reality it is still confined to metropolitan cities only and that to a certain extent. But when we go to small towns or villeges still the same male dominant mentality persists. Although due to the awareness girls are getting the education and good atmosphere in the family, but still the mentality is confined to make her better human being who can handle the family in a better manner. If a girl want to opt her career over marriage again the eyebrows getting up.
In our society women have been prey to the patriarchal society since ages. She has to face challenges right from her birth till the time she steps out of her house to become something and beyond that too. She has to fight against the society at every point in time. They say that the trend is changing. Women are giving cut throat competition to men today! Is that so in reality?
Indian women are considered as “homemakers” and not” businesswomen” who can go out and tackle the obstacles of carrying out a business of their own and do all the stress handling. They are bound to remain within the realm of their home. This mainstream thinking pulls them back to ground zero. The societal pressure demotivates them before even starting their path towards achieving their goals.
Women entrepreneurs have to deal with the conflict between their personal and professional life. How to manage their children and family and get the support of their family is the biggest challenge they face because at the end the upbringing of the children is posed on the mother.
I was fortunate enough to start my own business and my family has not only given me the consent for that but also the full support. When I goes back and see majority of girls in my society also ( which is a good and educated society) is a homemaker. I don’t understand why the majority of girls are still compiled to become a homemaker. We need to understand that the women is also half of the population in this country. Unless you promote your daughter to become an independent identify how India will grow in full swing.
I always promote girls in my organisation and also in the society and try to give her the support and motivation so that she can grow herself in a better manner. But every individual in our society has to understand this that you must promote your daughter to make her financially independent in her life and this is the only way to take India from developing to Developed County.
